This is a superb park in the middle of the Surfers Paradise high rises and is the perfect place to bring the family for picnics and BBQs. There’s plenty of shade from the surrounding trees and a stream runs through the park making it an attractive habitat for a health population of aquatic birds. There is even a small freshwater beach where you can bring a towel or picnic rug and setup. This beach is not patrolled by surf lifesavers so take care if swimming.
With two playgrounds in the park, the kids will be more than happy and you can rest easy knowing there’s sun protection with shade sails and the sand underfoot provides a soft landing.
